Balwyn Evergreen Centre - Lifestyle Support Programs

Balwyn Evergreen Centre is a community centre dedicated to ensuring that older individuals stay active, healthy and socially connected.

 

Balwyn Evergreen operates The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), a wonderful opportunity to help vulnerable members of the community and ease the burden of social isolation, which we know can lead to poor health outcomes.

 

The Balwyn Evergreen Supported Lifestyle Program is designed to engage older people in a meaningful way. Led by experienced staff and volunteers, this social support program draws on strengths and interests to build capacity and encourage independence. This program caters to people over 65 with cognitive impairment or mild dementia.
